The Dublin Wine Tasting Company run a number of wine tasting courses. Our beginners courses run over 6 weeks one evening per week. Each session is 2 hours long and is accessible and informative. We focus on giving the student a comprehensive introduction to the appreciation of wine. Each session comprises a talk on a certain subject and the tasting of a number of wines. The sessions cover wine tasting techniques, the history of wine production and specific wine producing regions throughout the world.

Next Public Courses, Introduction to Wine Appreciation, suitable for beginners, starts September 2010 running for 6 consecutive weeks, 7pm - 9pm. The course covers all the basics of wine appreciation. Course includes notes, lecturer and a selection of wines that are tasted each night. Cost course €295. We also offer bespoke courses for sports and social groups within companies which are increasingly popular. We can put on one night tasting course or a series. Minimum numbers are 15 and maximum is 45.
